- "Search Results" refers to the publicly available URLs, social media profiles, images, and data matched and returned by the Service.
Eligibility (Age Restrictions)
You must be at least eighteen (18) years of age to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are 18 years of age or older and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. We do not knowingly collect information from or provide services to individuals under 18. If we discover that a user is under 18, we will immediately terminate their access and block their Device ID.
Service Availability and Modification
We strive to ensure the Service is available and functional; however, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice, including limiting access to certain features or restricting availability in certain geographic jurisdictions.
Freemium Access, Subscription, and Payment
- Freemium Model & Device Limitations: We may offer a certain number of free search credits per day based on your Device ID (DID), IP address, or other technical identifiers. You agree not to use virtual private networks (VPNs), proxies, device spoofing, or multiple accounts to bypass our free access limits.
- Subscriptions: If you choose to upgrade to a paid tier or purchase additional credits, you agree to pay all applicable fees. All payments are non-refundable unless otherwise required by applicable law. We reserve the right to change our pricing at any time.
User Conduct and Acceptable Use
You are solely responsible for the Input Data you upload. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you have the explicit consent, legal right, or authority to upload the image of the individual(s) depicted.
You strictly agree NOT to use the Service for any of the following prohibited purposes:
- Stalking or Harassment: Using the Service to stalk, harass, intimidate, or threaten any individual.
- Doxxing & Malicious Exposure: Gathering or publishing private information to harm or humiliate others.
- Searching Minors: Uploading images of anyone under the age of 18.
- Non-Consensual Explicit Content: Uploading or searching for sexually explicit material without consent (e.g., revenge porn).
- Illegal Activities: Violating any applicable local, state, national, or international laws, including biometric data privacy laws (e.g., Illinois BIPA, Texas CUBI).
Noted: We reserve the right (but not the obligation) to monitor, review, and remove content or restrict access where we reasonably suspect violations of these Terms or misuse of the Service. We may implement automated or manual measures to detect and prevent abusive, unlawful, or high-risk use of the Service.
Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) Notice
AI PEOPLE SEARCH IS NOT A CONSUMER REPORTING AGENCY.
We do not provide "consumer reports" as defined by the U.S. Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). You are strictly prohibited from using the Service or the Search Results for purposes of determining an individual's eligibility for employment, tenancy, credit, insurance, or any other purpose covered under the FCRA.
Privacy, Data Retention, and Opt-Out
- Data Retention for Search History: To provide you with the convenience of accessing your past searches, we temporarily store your uploaded images (Input Data) and the specific Search Result photos you click on within your account's "History" and "Collections." We process this data strictly to deliver this feature to you. We do not use your temporarily stored images to train our AI models, nor do we sell them to third parties.
- Automatic Deletion Policy: We adhere to strict data storage limitations. After a user's subscription plan expires (or, for free users, after a period of inactivity), all saved history files will remain accessible for up to one (1) week. Once this 7-day period ends, our system will automatically and permanently delete these files to maintain data security and storage efficiency.
- Opt-Out / Takedown: If you (as a data subject) find your image or information in our Search Results and wish to have it removed from our directory, you may submit an Opt-Out request to our designated contact email. We will process verified requests to block your face from appearing in future searches.

Third-Party Links and Content
The Service acts solely as an aggregation and search engine. Search Results contain links to third-party websites, social media platforms, or publicly available records that are not owned, operated, or controlled by AI People Search. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, legality, or safety of any third-party websites. Clicking on source URLs is at your own risk.
Intellectual Property Rights
- Our Rights: We retain all intellectual property rights in the Service, including the website design, algorithms, and branding.
- Your Rights: We do not claim ownership of the images you upload.
- Copyright Claims (DMCA): If you believe that content indexed by our Service infringes your copyright, please contact us with a formal takedown notice. Note that removing a link from our Service does not remove the content from the original third-party source website.
Indemnification (User Liability)
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless AI People Search, its affiliates, directors, employees, and third-party partners from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to:
(i) your violation of these Terms;
(ii) your violation of any third-party rights (including privacy rights, portrait rights, and biometric data laws like BIPA/GDPR) resulting from the unauthorized upload of photos; or
(iii) your misuse of the Search Results.
Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
- Disclaimer of Warranties: THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. WE MAKE NO WARRANTIES REGARDING THE ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, OR COMPLETENESS OF THE AI MATCHING RESULTS. AI TECHNOLOGY MAY PRODUCE INCORRECT MATCHES ("HALLUCINATIONS"). YOU RELY ON THE SEARCH RESULTS AT YOUR OWN RISK.
- Limitation of Liability: TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL AI PEOPLE SEARCH BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY. IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE PAST SIX (6) MONTHS, OR FIFTY US DOLLARS ($50), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
- YOU AGREE NOT TO USE THE SERVICE FOR IDENTITY VERIFICATION, BACKGROUND CHECKS, OR ANY DECISION-MAKING THAT MAY SIGNIFICANTLY AFFECT AN INDIVIDUAL.
Account Suspension or Termination
We reserve the right to ban your Device ID, block your IP address, or suspend your access to the Service at our sole discretion, without notice, for any conduct that we believe violates these Terms, is harmful to other users, or creates legal risk for AI People Search.
Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
- Governing Law: These Terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China, without giving effect to any choice or conflict of law provision or rule.
- Binding Arbitration: Any dispute, controversy, difference, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms, including the existence, validity, interpretation, performance, breach, or termination thereof, shall be referred to and finally resolved by arbitration administered by the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC) under the HKIAC Administered Arbitration Rules in force when the Notice of Arbitration is submitted. The seat of arbitration shall be Hong Kong. The number of arbitrators shall be one. The arbitration proceedings shall be conducted in English.
- Class Action Waiver: YOU AND AI PEOPLE SEARCH AGREE THAT EACH MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN YOUR OR ITS INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY, AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS, CONSOLIDATED, OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING. The arbitrator may not consolidate more than one person's claims, and may not otherwise preside over any form of a representative or class proceeding.
Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. The most current version will always be posted on our website. If a revision is material, we will try to provide noticeable prominence on the site. By continuing to access or use the Service after revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms.
